Jamie Burns Keck, LCMHCA

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate

My name is Jamie Burns Keck, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s most challenging seasons with strength, clarity, and confidence. I earned my Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice from University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2023 and went on to complete my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at University of Mount Olive in December 2025. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Forensic Psychology at Walden University, further deepening my expertise in the intersection of psychology, behavior, and the legal system.

I work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals and couples, providing support for trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and personality disorders. I have a special passion for working with trauma survivors and utilize a trauma-informed approach to ensure each client feels safe, heard, and empowered throughout the healing process.

My primary therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), both of which are evidence-based modalities designed to help clients build practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I believe that healing is not about “fixing” what is broken — it is about uncovering the resilience that already exists within you. I understand that reaching out for help can be one of the hardest steps, and she strives to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences with honesty and courage.

Hayley Craig, LCMHCA

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate

My name is Hayley Craig! I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2020 and continued my education there, graduating with a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2024. I am dually licensed as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCAS-A). I am currently pursuing further advanced training in forensic psychology through Walden University to expand my clinical expertise and professional development.

From an early age, I recognized that helping others was both my passion and my purpose. I have always believed that making a positive difference in even one person's life is meaningful and impactful. As a counselor, I view the therapeutic process as a collaborative journey. My role is to provide support, guidance, and practical tools that empower clients to achieve their goals and create lasting change. While I integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches into treatment, I primarily practice from a person-centered perspective, allowing clients to guide the direction of sessions while I provide encouragement, insight, and clinical support.

One of the qualities that distinguishes my approach is my commitment to building genuine, authentic therapeutic relationships. When clinically appropriate, I strive to connect with clients in a way that feels personable and relatable. I understand that life presents challenges for everyone, and I believe that acknowledging our shared humanity can foster trust and meaningful growth. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being open, vulnerable, and fully themselves. I approach each individual with empathy, compassion, and respect. Whether you are experiencing stress and burnout, navigating a significant life transition, or facing more complex emotional challenges, I am committed to supporting you every step of the way.
