Our Therapists
Jamie Burns Keck, LCMHCA
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate
My name is Jamie Burns Keck, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s most challenging seasons with strength, clarity, and confidence. I earned my Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice from University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2023 and went on to complete my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at University of Mount Olive in December 2025. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Forensic Psychology at Walden University, further deepening my expertise in the intersection of psychology, behavior, and the legal system.
I work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals and couples, providing support for trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and personality disorders. I have a special passion for working with trauma survivors and utilize a trauma-informed approach to ensure each client feels safe, heard, and empowered throughout the healing process.
My primary therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), both of which are evidence-based modalities designed to help clients build practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I believe that healing is not about “fixing” what is broken — it is about uncovering the resilience that already exists within you. I understand that reaching out for help can be one of the hardest steps, and she strives to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences with honesty and courage.
Hayley Craig, LCMHCA
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate
I graduated from UNC Pembroke with a bachelor’s in science in 2020 and continued my education there to later receive my master’s in education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2024. I am dually licensed as I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Associate and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate. I am currently enrolled at Walden University to further my clinical career in forensic psychology.
I knew from a young age that my passion and mission in life was to help others become better versions of themselves. I used to always say, “as long as I can help one person, I will have helped enough.” As a counselor, I believe that we are on this journey together and it is my job to give you the tools you need to be successful. While I like to use different methods throughout sessions, I lean more towards person centered therapy, meaning letting the client lead the session and offering support and guidance when they need it.
One thing I believe that sets me apart from other clinicians is that I like to be personable with the clients, but only if I feel like it is beneficial for them. I am human and I have struggles in life just like my clients. I believe in creating a non-judgmental space for my clients to feel safe and vulnerable. I am empathic and show compassion towards everyone who steps in my office. Whether you are struggling with daily burnout or dealing with major life changes, I am here to help you navigate it.
